astora Haidach: Marketing of remaining capacity for storage year 21/22

Kassel, 3 March 2021: Between 10 March 2021 and 24 March 2021, astora will offer remaining capacities in the Haidach storage facility for the upcoming storage year on PRISMA. A total of 405 GWh of working gas volume will be offered. The exact date of the auction will be announced by e-mail at least 24 hours in advance to all market participants who have registered with astora via PRISMA. Companies not yet registered and interested in participating are requested to submit a request via the PRISMA platform. 

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. Storage curves are applicable, whereby the injection and withdrawal capacities limited by the storage curves can be used free of charge (subordinate to interruptible capacity). 

The Haidach storage facility is directly connected to the market area Net Connect Germany (NCG), i.e. as of 1 October 2021 Trading Hub Europe (THE), via the network operators bayernets GmbH (USP Haidach) and Open Grid Europe GmbH (Speicher Haiming 3-Haidach). By booking short-distance transport between the USP Haidach and Ueberackern 2 (bayernets; BZK), there is also a connection of the Haidach storage facility to the Eastern control area in Austria, which means that corresponding regulations of REGENT must be considered.
