In November 2023, astora conducted a non-binding market survey on the ramp-up of hydrogen storage demands. The aim was to gain an impression of the requirements of potential customers for hydrogen storage capacities, particularly regarding the development of the hydrogen storage project in Jemgum.

On 16 January 2024, astora will offer storage capacities for the storage year 2024/2025 on the capacity platform PRISMA. The firm working gas volume is offered in 50 bundles of 100 GWh each. The associated firm injection capacity is 32,943 kWh/h and the firm withdrawal capacity 50,681 kWh/h.
