astora successfully markets Rehden capacity for the storage year 2024/2025 and announces an additional tender

[Kassel, 14 Dezember 2023] astora has successfully allocated the storage capacity of approx. 2.5 TWh for the storage year 2024/2025 in UGS Rehden on the PRISMA capacity platform. The capacity offered was fully marketed. 

Furthermore, astora has decided to offer additional storage capacities on 20 December 2023 for the storage year 2024/2025 on the capacity platform PRISMA.

Bids for „Rehden SY24/25 (7) – 2.5 TWh“ can be submitted on 20 December 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CET).

The total working gas volume to be marketed is around 2.5 TWh. The firm working gas volume is offered in 25 bundles of 100 GWh each. The associated firm injection rate is 32,943 kWh/h and the firm withdrawal rate 50,681 kWh/h. 

To be able to meet the filling level requirements and to allow a complete withdrawal, the storage customer is entitled to withdraw the working gas until 01/06/2025. The interruptible working gas volume available to the storage customer for this purpose amounts to 10 % of its firm working gas volume (10 GWh/bundle). The interruptible withdrawal capacity is 8,900 kWh/h/bundle. Depending on the storage utilization, booking and use of additional interruptible withdrawal capacity is possible.  

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The respective current filling level requirements and storage curves shall be considered.
Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline. The information relevant for the storage product can be found on the homepage www.astora.de under auction products.
