Why have you changed your name to SEFE Storage?

As the storage operator of SEFE – Securing Energy for Europe, our company name, previously astora GmbH has changed to SEFE Storage GmbH.

The SEFE name reflects the new role of the SEFE group in securing a reliable source of energy for Europe and driving the green energy transition.

Who owns SEFE Storage?

SEFE Storage GmbH is 100% owned by SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH (“SEFE”, based in Berlin).

What does the name change mean for the day-to-day running of SEFE Storage?

This change means we have entered a new chapter, one we are all very excited about, but it does not impact our day-to-day business. We remain steadfast in our commitment to offering a reliable and customer-focused service to businesses and organisations across Europe.

There are no to-dos for you as a business partner. Existing contracts will remain unchanged, and we will continue to work as usual. All future payments can be made to our existing bank account. 

Have your bank details changed?

The name on our bank account has changed to SEFE Storage GmbH but no other bank details have changed.

Our bank account number and contact details are the same, and there are no immediate account changes planned. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your relevant contact person.

Will contracts change?

Existing contracts will not be affected. All new agreements, contracts and any other formal legal documents issued by us or entered into by us will be in our new company names. 

Have you changed your website or portal URLs?

Yes. You will now find our website at www.sefe-storage.de.

Has SEFE Storage’s contact details changed?
