UGS Jemgum – Vermarktung von Kapazitäten für 2024/2025

[Kassel, 1 June 2023] On 15 June 2023, astora GmbH will offer storage capacities for the natural gas storage facility in Jemgum for the storage year 2024/2025 via auction procedures on the capacity platform PRISMA.

The total working gas volume to be marketed is approx. 1.3 TWh and will be offered in two separate auctions on 15 June for the following product structures:

• "Jemgum SY24/25 - 0.3 TWh": -> 2 bundles of 155,000,000 kWh each. The respective firm injection capacity is 102,300 kWh/h, the firm withdrawal capacity is 155,000 kWh/h.

• Jemgum SY24/25 - 1 TWh": -> 6 bundles of 167,131,042 kWh each. The respective firm injection capacity is 111,667 kWh/h, the firm withdrawal capacity is 166,667 kWh/h. In addition, transport capacities (GTS) are provided free of charge as part of this product for the period 1 April 2024–1 October 2024.

Bids can be submitted on 15 June 2023 for "Jemgum SY24/25 – 0.3 TWh" from 11:00 to 11:30 (CET) and "Jemgum SY24/25 – 1 TWh" from 14:00 to 14:30 (CET). Within the framework of the marketing procedures, the respective current filling level requirements must also be taken into account. Restrictions based on storage curves are not to be considered. A variable fee will not be charged.

The UGS Jemgum is connected to the THE market area via the network operator GASCADE Gastransport GmbH and to the TTF market area via the network operator Gasunie Transport Services B.V. (GTS), which means that the corresponding regulations under REGENT must be considered.
