UGS Haidach – Marketing of capacities for the storage year 2025/26

[Kassel, 6 March 2025] As part of several auction procedures, SEFE Storage GmbH will offer its unmarketed storage capacities for the natural gas storage facility in Haidach for the storage year 2025/26 until 01st April 2025 on PRISMA capacity platform. 

The offered working gas volume of 4.9 TWh in total will be marketed flexibly as part of the respective auction on the basis of the following product structures:

Haidach SY25/26 IV (9): bundle with a working gas volume of 47,888,196 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection capacity of 16,322 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal capacity of 18,252 kWh/h. In addition to that each bundle includes an interruptible injection capacity of 587 kWh/h.

Haidach SY25/26 V (10): bundle with a working gas volume of 49,074,487 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection capacity of 14,169 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal capacity of 15,799 kWh/h. In addition to that each bundle includes an interruptible injection capacity of 3,159 kWh/h and an interruptible withdrawal capacity of 2,789 kWh/h. 

The respective current filling level requirements in Austria of 10% on the 1st of July apply. 

Specific storage curves shall be considered. No variable fee will be charged for the storage product.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated 24 hours in advance to all companies already registered on PRISMA and verified by SEFE Storage. Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating and would like to receive notice are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline.
