UGS Rehden – Marketing of capacities for storage year 2024/2025

[Kassel, 16 January 2024] As part of several auction procedures, astora GmbH will offer its unmarketed storage capacities for the natural gas storage facility in Rehden for the storage year 2024/2025 on the PRISMA capacity platform from 22 January 2024.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated 48 hours in advance to all companies already registered on PRISMA and verified by astora. Additional publication on astora's homepage for each specific auction date will not be provided for this multiple tranche marketing scheme. Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating and would like to receive notice are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline.

The firm working gas volume is offered in bundles of 100 GWh each. The associated firm injection capacity is 32,943 kWh/h and the firm withdrawal capacity 50,681 kWh/h.

To be able to meet the filling level requirements and to allow a complete withdrawal, the storage customer is entitled to withdraw the working gas until 01/06/2025. The interruptible working gas volume available to the storage customer for this purpose amounts to 10% of its firm working gas volume (10 GWh/bundle). The interruptible withdrawal capacity is 8,900 kWh/h/bundle. Depending on the storage utilization, booking and use of additional interruptible withdrawal capacity is possible.  

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The respective current filling level requirements and storage curves shall be considered.
